Quilling at Mormor
I have to say that everything is kind of happening at warp speed for me over here and I feel like I have left the web page in the dark. Believe me when I say that it has been on my mind and if there were more hours in a day I would be making newer posts every second I could.
One of the pieces I put into the collection currently on sale at Mormor was my largest piece, “Swagger”. Swagger the peacock is sitting pretty in grand form right as you enter the gallery your eyes are drawn forward on to the big wall straight ahead where I am lucky enough as an artist to grace the walls of Mormor.
I put together a quilled video of the different stages I went through to complete the project. I even ended up ripping out a large portion of the completed piece and I guess for lack of a better term I refinished it. This quilled piece is the largest and most detailed piece I have ever created.
